Welcome back to my blog, it's Lilly here! It's been quite long since my last post on Descendants, so I'll be continuing it for this week! Descendants is an amazing movie and I totally recommend that you watch it! I hope you've enjoyed the first part, though it was a bit short. I'll hope to make it longer this time!
Summary
I'll start from where I last left off! When Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay are forced to attend Auradon Prep, they're greeted with a wonderful show! When it came to an end, Ben and Audrey (his so-called girlfriend and daughter of Princess Aurora), greet the four. The Fairy Godmother, who is also the school's headmistress, welcomed them as well.
Once settled in, Evie and Mal get shown into their gorgeous rooms! Mal instantly dislikes the open windows and makes a move to close them. Continuing on their quest, Evie uses her miniature magic mirror (a gift from her Mother) to locate the wand in a nearby museum. Plotting a scheme to steal the wand, the four run off to the museum at night.
When noticing that there's a night-guard, Mal uses her spinning wheel (also a gift from her Mother), to put the guard in sleep. Sadly, the four couldn't finish their quest that day when they realised that a magical barrier has been placed around it.
Dejected but determined, the villain protagonists heard that the Fairy Godmother's wan will be taken out and used at Ben's coronation. The four strive to fit in as they wait for this fated day.
Reaction
The arrival to Auradon prep may have been a historical moment but the drive there was what lingered on my mind longest! Carlos' and Jay's fight was definitely understandable! Candy- especially free candy is something worthy of an honourable fight!
Although, maybe rolling to your new school isn't the best way to ensure a wonderful year. But, finally, the fated encounter is happening! All hail: Bal! Sadly, Ben reveals that he isn't single but he and Audrey look happy enough?
I absolutely adore the actor for the Fairy Godmother! She nailed the role, her voice and actions complimented her part! But that wasn't even the best thing: the dorms were so spacious! Not to mention- canopy beds?! The closest I got to a room as complete as that was a bed-less camp room with cemented flooring.
Evie's mirror was super cute too! And useful! Imagine having the answer to anything in your hand! I also felt quite bad for the night-guard, he was a loyal guard for not falling asleep but was forced to drift off anyways. I was terrified that someone would pop out of nowhere while the four villains tried to steal the Fairy Godmother's wand, I was relieved when no one found out.
But the main leads don't look like their going to give up! They truly are worthy villains! I'm also looking forward to see Ben's coronation despite the fact that his parents might me forfeiting their tittles too quickly.
I absolutely loved the first movie which showed the budding romance of a villainess and hero! I hoped that you enjoyed the movie too as well as my reaction! If there's any other things you'd like me to react on, please feel free to suggest it! If you liked this post, please like and comment! Thanks for reading!
