Florentia Festival - Rebirth: Part 3

Updated: May 7, 2022

Hello again to all of my wonderful readers! Welcome back to meet your manga/manhwa/manhua-obsessive blogger, Lilliana! (Foreseeably, I read like nine of them each week, my sleep has suffered) But even so, these stunning pieces of art and literature deserve praise and recognition! It's been ever so long since my last 'I shall master this family' update and our darling Florentia has grown (or . . . changed) so much since then! It's about time we check on our small villainess and see how she dominates her era! Let's warmly welcome our little princess: Florentia Lombardi!

Summary

The last time we left our dearest Lady Florentia, she had sadly had her life ended by a lowly horse. Back then, she wasn't a Lady, she was a servant of the House of Lombardi; a slave to the people who harmed her. But things are different now, she's been given another chance.

And what would be a better second chance than to rewind time back to when days were blissful? That's exactly what Tia's (her official nickname) fate was chosen to be. Reincarnated back to the age of merely 7, she's in shock and disbelief.

Gallahan Lombardi, Tia's father, calls out to her. He was a man Florentia adored and loved greatly, but his death was so sudden. Waves of emotions came crashing down on her as she is in disbelief. Gallahan calls Tia again with a more concerned look. Instead, Florentia excused herself to return to her room. Her father agreed, albeit worrisome, warning her to be careful when walking back. Florentia races back to her room.

Instead of her own room, Florentia races to the guest's bedroom where she confirmed her age of 7 years. Deep in thought, she begins to reflect on her past life, regretting all the events which had happened. But then a shock of realisation hits her and she finds that, if she tried hard enough, she could alter her storyline. Saving her father was her largest and most important goal and tears of joy ran down her face as she realised that there was even a slither of possibility.

Soon enough, our beloved little Lady decided to aim higher than that. Instead of saving just her father . . . wouldn't she be able to save her entire family from peril? Lombardi, the family that she was tied to since birth, and, in the end, backstabbed her? With deep determination and hope, Lady Florentia Lombardi makes a promise to herself . . .

'I shall master this family!'

Reaction

I wanted to physically inflict pain upon the author/s of this story. How dare they put such a kind and forgiving woman through such horrible events! No one deserves to be stripped of both their parents, neglected by their family, blamed for each misfortune and abandoned! If Lady Florentia had chosen to wreak revenge on those horrible uncles that ruined her life then I would cheer her on every step of the way!

But even after all this pain, our courageous and outstanding Tia still decides to rectify Lombardi from tragedy! What a remarkable and merciful soul! I have fallen in love with her. She's so noble and kind in every action, it's impossible to not adore her!

I hadn't realised that children could be so beautiful at such a young age, but Tia was a literal beauty. I mean, it wasn't that hard to find out how she had gotten that pretty though, Gallahan made that quite obvious. Look at this pair of stunning perfection! I envy Tia's mother!

*Cough cough* Anyhow, moving on . . . Isn't Gallahan just the kindest father ever? To sit with his own daughter at a library, not even caring if she chooses to doze off. #ParentGoals Seeing those tears in Pia's eyes made me begin to tear up too, I could see how much love she held for her father! Don't worry darling, he'll live in this life, I'm sure! (I mean, the author/s better-)

Tia's reaction to her own size was adorable and funny and just ever so precious too! How I wish I could just cuddle her in my arms for eternity, but I need to let her go and watch as she changes her life for the better!

But this fluffy moment was soon interrupted by Tia's thought train as it ventured to her lowly, disgusting, detestable and vile uncles! Why does every good thing need to be destroyed by them? They're not only ignorant and ambitious but egocentric and self-obsessed! Our little princess was on the floor by this point, imagining her father's death. My heart wrenched to see her like this, so miserable and regretful.

But this time, Tia decided to pick herself up. Both mentally and physically. She realises the possibilities and her power. Standing up, she looked so powerful but also so humane. The way the artists drew this to show both her weakness and breakthrough was so beautiful.

Standing outside on the veranda, our little princess gazes down at her family's land. No longer a princess but a blooming Queen! She's still hurt and broken, but she understands her power and begins to piece both herself and her family's fate back together again! The sun shines on her brightly, catching on her auburn hair and causing it to glow. Her bright shamrock eyes shine with determination as she repeats the words: 'I shall master this family!'

And before I even stopped crying over the scenes, our mini Queen has already begun her plan to achieve the Patriarch's favour! Kyaaa, what a Queen, I love her so much!

Thank you so much to those precious few that read today's post! If you want to witness Florentia's (Or Firentia's, it's different when it comes to different translations) for yourself, you can pay for the manhua at Tapas or read it online for free! (I opt for the second option if you're broke like I am.) Anyhow, thanks again for reading!
